Puppet film making with minuscule budget but grand idea!

Welcome to my puppet studio! We have finally started to shoot our Puppet Movie! In this video I shortly talk about some of the details of shooting this puppet film- the techniques and difficulties. Please SUBSCRIBE if you enjoy puppet-making and creative processes! Welcome to my puppet and art studio! Join Jack and I as we embark on an adventure to make a no-budget two man puppet movie in our Puppet Studio. I am documenting the process in this series called 'Making my Puppet Movie'. These are not meant to be instructional videos- rather just a brief look and description of the artistic process of building something from nothing. And this is not a movie for kids! So even though I use mice and rats and other cute creatures in my puppet film, this film is a rather philosophical look at searching for one's own significance. That is a whole other process, but through making art, some of those larger questions stumble upon some answers. This is a low/no budget production. I recycle, upcycle, and use things from nature to create my scenes and puppets. So, even though as mentioned these are not instructional videos, if you want low-cost ideas that are fun and creative, you might also enjoy my videos. And if you have questions on how to put something together, please put them in comments! I love to solve problems! I hope that you will enjoy watching some of my creative process. Please subscribe and follow along with me in this creation of MY PUPPET MOVIE! (I hope it will be ready soon!! But there is a long way to go...) On my channel you will also find some of my other work- my channel for young people, and a puppet opera that I wrote and created and performed with my son. I am also a costume maker and will eventually post some of those creations too. Enjoy! -Kristin #puppetshow #mypuppetmovie #recycledart

Scenery for a puppet movie | My Puppet Movie

Puppet making! In this next video of my Making a Puppet Movie series, I am going to make some puppet scenery- Maxi's bedroom, or rather, her deathbed! There is also a test shot of this puppet scene- so you can see how something that looks like mere cardboard and leaves and chicken-wire turns into scenery for my puppet movie! Please SUBSCRIBE and comment- it makes it much more fun! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG6LFYU94s07UjaweF3T3Ag A big special thanks to my son, who composed the first bit of music on this video, and who will be writing the full score for the actual movie when it is finished. Thanks, Jack! If you want to hear his other work, please subscribe to his channel! https://www.youtube.com/c/JackDaunerMusic This is a low/no budget puppet production. all work on this website is mine.  It would not be nice to borrow it without asking. And we should all be nice.
